County officials joined community members in Wheelwright on September 22 to celebrate the opening of the new Mountain Comprehensive Care Center facility. The facility, which will provide several programs to southern Floyd County residents, was made possible through the donation of a nine room house by Alberta and Alfred Rhea, which had previously been donated to them. MCCC Marketing Director Dorian Moe said it is like a gift that keeps on giving. The home was originally intended to be a facility for children. Unfortunately, the home was in disrepair and had to be torn down, with the new clinic being built in its place. Executive Director Promond Bisnoi said the clinic will ease the travel burden for some clients.
