The decision to allow Sunday alcohol sales in the City of Hazard has been tabled for the time being. The Hazard City Commission was expected to vote on allowing Sunday sales at their monthly meeting, which was held on Monday, October 16, but decided to postpone the decision until more information could be collected. Mayor Jimmy Lindon said he wanted to find out how Sunday alcohol sales have benefitted other cities that have allowed it.
