On Saturday, October 14, around 6:54am, London Police responded to a crime tip that a stabbing had occurred at the Shell Gas Station on KY-192. According to the manager, 30-year-old Robert Collins had visited the store hours before the stabbing and stolen a 20oz Mountain Dew. When he returned, he became agitated after being asked to leave and began waving around a pocket knife. A bystander attempted to assist in removing Collins, which resulted in a scuffle and laceration to the bystander. Collins was arrested at his residence and charged with second-degree assault.
