On November 4, around 2am, Knox County Deputies received a 911 call stating that Dewey Warren had forced a woman into a vehicle on Stephen Trace in Bimble and the female victim had an active Emergency Protective Order against him. The vehicle was observed around 2:30am traveling north on US 25E in Gray. When the deputies attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver accelerated to speeds above 90 miles per hour to elude them. When deputies stopped the vehicle and made contact, warren identified himself as a Corbin Police Officer. He was arrested and charged with kidnapping, fleeing, violating EPO, and impersonating a police officer.
