On Monday, November 6, the Russell County Sheriff’s Office recovered a pair of shoes that may be connected to a homicide investigation. The sheriff’s office was seeking the public’s assistance to recover a black and red pair of Air Jordans. Information obtained that one of the shoes was found on Bear Creek Road in Norton, VA, with the other shoe found on Rt 58 near the paved median where the road intersects.
