On Tuesday, November 7, 2017, the Mingo County Sheriff’s Department along with the 119 Drug Task Force received information of a suspect in the Dingess-Breeden area with a large amount of crystal meth and a loaded handgun. Officers located a grey Chevrolet Silverado matching the description of the suspect’s vehicle and attempted a traffic stop. The driver intentionally ran a vehicle off the road causing bodily injuries. The vehicle was disabled in a ditch line. The suspect, Anthony Fleming, aka “BOBO,”and his passenger, Veronica Fannin, refused commands and had to be removed from the vehicle through a window. Suspected methamphetamine, hydrocodone and a large amount of cash were recovered from the scene.
