The 2017 Kentucky Counseling Association Conference was recently held in Louisville, which had over seven-hundred participants with over one-hundred breakout sessions covering a wide range of topics. During the KCA Conference, Leslie Bays from Big Sandy Community and Technical College was named the Outstanding College and Career Counselor for 2017. Bays begin working with BSCTC in 1992 when it was previously named Prestonsburg Community College, in the Financial Aid office. She said she has always wanted to help people and was honored to have received this award from KCA.
