Kentucky State Police will be stepping up vehicle enforcement actions during the Thanksgiving holiday. KSP Troopers and Commercial Vehicle Enforcement will concentrate their efforts on high traffic areas, such as interstates, parkways, and high crash locations. Officials will be observing for individuals exhibiting unsafe driving behaviors, such as speeding, reckless driving, and impaired driving. Statewide, during the 2016 Thanksgiving Holiday period, there were five total fatalities on Kentucky roadways, four involving alcohol.
