Motorists traveling the Mountain Parkway near Salyersville will follow a new traffic pattern starting Monday, November 27, 2017, as construction crews moves lanes to a new Burning Fork bridge. The switch to the new bridge will occur around midday. The new bridge, just west of Restaurant Row in Salyersville, will carry one lane of eastbound traffic and one lane of westbound traffic. During this phase of construction, shoulder space on the bridge will be limited. The traffic switch will allows crews to also open a realigned intersection at the US 460/Parkway Drive junction. The intersection is just east of Exit 75 of the Mountain Parkway and includes a traffic signal.
