Drug Arrest at Traffic Stop in Johnson County

On Tuesday, November 28, 2017, around 7:40pm, Johnson County Deputies Jerry Wiley and Lauren O’Bryan made a traffic stop on a vehicle that had a tail light out on Hitchcock loop in Van Lear. The driver of the vehicle, Bobby Estep, 40, had two active warrants. Deputies also found a baggy of suspected crystal meth and a straw under his seat. Estep was charged with no tail lamps, possession of controlled substance and paraphernalia. Additionally, he was charged with one bench warrant and one indictment warrant.
