The last day to donate to Operation Warm to help Floyd County children in need is Friday, December 1, 2017. The Floyd County School District is looking to give new coats for children in need. The goal is give 500 new, colorful winter coats to children in Floyd County Head Start and Preschool Programs. Through Operation Warm, the school district is collecting donations. Every $20 will provide a new coat to a child. The fundraising goal is $9,000. They have currently raised over $1300. If you would like to donate, visit operationwarm.org/floydcounty.
