On Friday, December 1, 2017, the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office made an arrest following a drug investigation. During the investigations, deputies purchased crystal meth from the suspect, identified as Jason Tackett. The illegal drug trafficking occurred in the Creekside Addition of McDowell. Deputies have charged Tackett, 37, with two counts of drug trafficking. He was lodged in the Floyd County Jail.
