The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department has arrested 19 people as the result of an ongoing drug investigation. The investigation took place over a year and a half, with drugs being brought into the area from western Kentucky and West Virginia metro areas. During the investigation, suspects distributed methamphetamine, heroin, suboxone, and oxycodone. More arrests are possible.
