Kentucky Representative Dan Johnson has died of an apparent suicide, according to the Bullitt County Sheriff’s Department. Reports say Representative Johnson shot himself on a bridge in Mount Washington, Kentucky, on the evening of Wednesday, December 13, 2017. Allegations of sexual assault had been made against Johnson regarding an incident from 2013, which had been investigated by the Louisville Police Department with no charges filed. Johnson denied the allegations. He was elected as a state representative in 2016. Dan Johnson was 57 years old.
