Ten Floyd County schools are advancing to Rupp Arena for the State Student Technology Leadership Program on March 29, 2018. Students competed in the Regional STLP Competition at the East Kentucky Expo Center on Thursday, December 7, 2017. Twenty-four projects and six individuals in Community Service, Instructional, Technical Expertise, Production Company, Scratch Ambassador and Social Media categories will be competing at Rupp Arena. Superintendent Steve Trimble congratulated the students and said the students are learning and demonstrating technology skills they will need in their futures, skills they will need in jobs that currently exist and jobs that haven’t yet been created.
