Catlettsburg Man Sentenced for Distributing Child Pornography

A Catlettsburg man has been sentenced for distributing child pornography. On Monday, December 18, 2017, Steven Darrell Duncil, 36, was sentenced to 15 years in prison, followed by a 20-year term of supervised release. Duncil had previous felony conviction for prohibited use of Electronic Communications to Procure a Minor and Criminal Attempt of Unlawful Transaction with a Minor in the First Degree from 2007. He had previously admitted in federal court that, in June 2016, he knowingly distributed images of child pornography via ChatStep, a web chat service. Duncil must serve 85 percent of his federal prison sentence.
