According to the Governor’s Office, effective December 31, 2017, Representative Marie Rader is resigning her seat in the chamber, which represents Jackson County and parts of Laurel and Madison Counties. The deadline for candidates to file with the Secretary of State for District 49 is January 2 at 4pm, and District 89 candidate deadline is January 9 at 4pm.
