Kentucky’s State Resort Parks are planning New Year’s Eve festivities to ring in 2018. The Jenny Wiley State Resort Park will be holding a New Year’s Eve dinner from 5pm to 9pm at the Music Highway Grill. Their buffet will be serving Prime Rib, Chicken Cordon Bleu, fried catfish, and a variety of side items. The buffet is $25 per person. Then on New Year’s Day, the park will be hosting the First Day Hike on the Moss Ridge Trail. Hikers will meet at the Breezeway of the May Lodge at 8:30am. The trail is a 1.3 mile loop and rated moderate with one significant incline. Hikers should check the weather the day of and dress appropriately.
