The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has scheduled a public information meeting for proposed spot improvements to US 119 between Whitesburg and Jenkins in Letcher County. The project begins on US 119 near the intersection of US 119 and KY 15 in Whitesburg and ends near the intersection of US 119 and US 23 at Jenkins. The purpose of the meeting is to present alternatives currently under design. Those attending will be encouraged to provide feedback regarding the design. The public meeting is set from 5pm to 7pm on Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at the Pine Mountain Grill in Whitesburg. The meeting will be conducted in an open format. Transportation Cabinet representatives will be available to receive comments and respond to questions. Anyone having an interest in this project is urged to attend.
