A Pikeville man has been sentenced to 87 months in federal prison for receiving child pornography. Craig T. Anderson, 29, was formally sentenced on December 28, 2017 by US District Judge David Bunning for the charges. Anderson previously admitted in February 2015 to knowingly receiving images of child pornography by accessing The Onion Router network and saving child pornography images in his “TOR Browser” directory. A forensic examination of Anderson’s laptop revealed approximately 577 unique images of child pornography on his computer. Anderson must serve 85 percent of his federal prison sentence, which will be followed by a 25-year term of supervised release.
