Frankfort Man Pleads Guilty to Cocaine Distribution and Felony Firearm Possession

A Frankfort man pleaded guilty to Conspiracy to Distribute Cocaine and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon on Monday, January 8, 2018. In his guilty plea, Jonathan Courtland, 35, admitted that he had engaged in several instances of cocaine distribution in Frankfort between December 2016 and April 2017. He also admitted that, on April 24, 2017, he possessed a handgun. Courtland faces a minimum mandatory sentence of 15 years for the firearms offense and a maximum prison sentence of 30 years on the cocaine offense. He will appear for sentencing on April 19, 2018.
