Attorney General Andy Beshear announced Friday, January 12, 2018, that 523 Kentucky customers of Paducah-based United Propane Gas, Inc. will receive an average refund of $291 through a recent $150,000 settlement procured by his office. The settlement resolves alleged violations of the Kentucky Consumer Protection Act by United Propane Gas Inc. and its affiliates. As part of the agreement, the company agreed to strengthen customer protections.
