On Thursday, January 11, 2018, around 1:15pm, Knox County Deputy Claude Hudson investigated a trespassing complaint at a residence on Garden Drive in Flat Lick that resulted in several arrests. Deputy Hudson located the trespasser, identified as 42-year-old Tammy Smith, and charged her with criminal trespassing. A second trespasser, Thomas Gray, 42, was also arrested. While checking the vehicle belonging to Gray, a woman was found asleep in the passenger seat with an empty whiskey bottle. A container with suspected marijuana, a used syringe, and a set of digital scales were also located. Tiffany Botkins, 35, was arrested and charged with open container in motor vehicle and possession of drugs and paraphernalia. All three were lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
