An awards ceremony honoring Kentucky Main Street Program communities for outstanding projects, programs, and events is scheduled to take place at 1pm, Wednesday, January 24, 2018 in the Kentucky State Capitol Rotunda. Among the communities being recognized is Pikeville Main Street, who are the recipients of the Best Downtown Beautification award.  Kentucky Main Street is administered by the Kentucky Heritage Council/State Historic Preservation Office. The awards are being presented as part of the Kentucky Main Street 2018 Winter Conference, “Transforming Your Downtown” taking place January 23 through January 25, 2018 in Frankfort.
