Floyd Central High School Places First Overall at District Governor’s Cup Competition

Betsy Layne High School hosted the Kentucky Association for Academic Competition District 57 Governor’s Cup on Saturday, January 27, 2018. Floyd Central High School placed first overall, followed by Prestonsburg High School.

Prestonsburg and Betsy Layne High School placed first and second in Future Problem Solving, with Floyd Central placing first in the Quick Recall competition, and Prestonsburg placing second. The teams, along with the top five individuals from each written assessment area, will advance to regional competition. Future Problem Solving and English Composition competitions will be February 12, 2018, with all over written assessments and quick recall competition taking place February 17, 2018 at Floyd Central High School.
