The Ashland Police department was called to investigate reports of a trespassing person in the 3100 block of Winchester Avenue on Thursday, February 8, 2018. The investigation lead to an encounter with 30-year-old Justin Ellison, who had an active warrant from Warren County, KY. Additionally, he was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Ellison was lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center.
