Highwater in several counties has lead to roadways being blocked. In Floyd County, routes at Ky 7, 979, 1210, 1426, and 1427 are blocked. In Johnson County, barriers have been installed at KY 1107 due to river water backup in the roadway. High water in Martin county is currently affecting roadways at KY 2031, 292, and 1714. Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 12 Superintendent Barry Spriggs is cautioning motorists against driving through areas of high water as it is dangerous.
