The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office made a drug arrest on Tuesday, February 13, 2018. The arrest occurred around 2:25am on East Hal Rogers Parkway. A traffic stop was conducted on a black colored Chevrolet pickup truck. During the stop, drug usage was suspected. The sheriff’s office K-9 unit was brought to the scene and alerted on the vehicle. Further investigation discovered oxycodone pills, alprazolam bars, digital scales, a large amount of US currency, a pistol, and an EBT card belonging to someone else. The driver, 22 year old Stephon Jalin Little, was charged with trafficking, possession of controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, carrying a concealed weapon, and fraudulently using ID card or electronic code for benefits. He was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
