On Saturday, March 3, 2018, around 8am, the Kentucky State Police Post 8 in Morehead received a call of a fatal hit and run accident on Ky 15, approximately 2.5 miles north of Campton, in Wolfe County. Troopers responded to the scene, where they located Richard Gaggley, age 45, of Campton, deceased. Preliminary investigation indicates Mr. Gaggley was struck by an unknown vehicle, while walking along KY 15. No identifying information concerning the hit and run vehicle is available at this time.
