The Laurel County Sheriff’s office recovered a Samsung washer and dryer on Friday, March 16, 2018 as the result of a continuing investigation into a burglary which occurred off Slate Lick Road. The washer and dryer were recovered off Robinson Spur Road, which were returned to their owner. The suspect, 34-year-old Priscilla Smith, was charged with receiving stolen property under $10,000. Smith had been arrested on Monday, March 12, 2018 for being in possession of a stolen 65-inch television. She was already lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
