Students from the Carl D. Perkins Job Corps Center will host a candlelight vigil at the downtown stage area in Prestonsburg on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at 6:30pm. This ceremony is part of the National Youth Violence Prevention week and Job Corps student led anti-violence initiatives: Youth2Youth and Partnes4Peace. Mayor Les Stapleton will open the ceremony, followed by other invited speakers. Candles will be provided for attendees.
