Kentucky’s seasonally adjusted preliminary February unemployment rate was 4.1 percent, according to the Kentucky Center for Education and Workforce Statistics. The unemployment rate for February 2018 was down from the revised 4.3 percent reported for January 2018. The jobless rate was also down from the 5.1 percent recorded in February 2017. According the U.S. Department of Labor, the U.S. seasonally adjusted jobless rate for February 2018 was unchanged from the 4.1 percent reported for January 2018.
