Laurel County Murder Suspect Commits Suicide

On Wednesday, March 21, around 4:58pm, the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office conducted a welfare check regarding a murder investigation after a suspect, 55-year-old Kenneth Lipscomb, had been observed driving his white Ford F-150 with camper shell traveling toward Laurel Lake. Officers spotted the vehicle traveling away from the lake, and a short pursuit occurred. Lipscomb traveled into a field off the roadway.
