Big Sandy Community and Technical College will host its 2nd Annual Leading Ladies Regional Women’s Leadership Conference in partnership with the University of Pikeville on Friday, April 6, 2018 from 8:30am to 3:30pm on the Prestonsburg campus. The one-day event will feature speakers Dr. Sherry Zylka, President/CEO of Big Sandy Community and Technical College; Julie Paxton, attorney; Dr. Burton Webb, President of University of Pikeville; Dr. Lori Werth, Provost University of Pikeville; Dr. Kay Webb, First Lady & Associate Professor of Psychology University of Pikeville; and Kentucky Lieutenant Governor Jenean Hampton. Participants will discuss the role of women in community and civic engagement, along with success strategies, and explore various leadership styles. Registration is free.
