A Lexington man was sentenced on Monday, April 2, 2018 to 37 months in prison for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Delvagio Christopher Lax, 33, previously admitted on October 6, 2017, while living on Mt. McKinley Way in Lexington, he possessed a .45 caliber Taurus pistol while in a conflict with neighbors. Lax had previously been convicted on felony charges of cocaine possession and facilitation to commit manslaughter in 2012. Under federal law, Lax must serve 85 percent of his prison sentence, and, upon release, will be under the supervision of the United States Probation Office for 3 years.
