On Wednesday, April 4, 2018, Knox County Deputy Mikey Ashurst arrested Joshua Gray, age 31, of Trosper, charging him with theft by unlawful taking over $500. The arrest was the result of Deputy Ashurst’s investigation into a theft at a residence on Shy Mug Hollow Road in Bimble. Deputy Ashurst initiated the investigation on March 28, 2018, after responding to a reported theft of several items at that location. Several of the stolen items were recovered at the residence of Joshua Gray prior to the arrest. Gray was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
