An accident occurred in Floyd County the evening of Thursday, April 5, 2018. The three-vehicle collision occurred around 7pm on US 23 near the intersection to RT 979 at Harold. The Floyd County Sheriff’s Office and emergency personnel worked the scene. All lanes of US 23 near the crash site were closed while emergency personnel attended to the scene. Currently, there is no information on if occupants inside the vehicles were injured. The road reopened after 8pm. We will update the story when more information becomes available.
