Johnson County Sheriff’s Office to Station Certified Officer at Schools

The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office and Johnson County School System announced on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 that a certified officer will be stationed at the Middle or High School. Deputies Tim Clark, Kevin Pelphrey, and Terry Tussey with the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office will be present throughout the day, every day, in rotation at Johnson Central High School and Johnson County Middle School, with intermittent visits from the Kentucky State Police K-9 Unit. Certified officers will attend School Resource Officer training. School safety is a top priority to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office and the Johnson County School System.
