Knox County Man Arrested After Threatening to Kill Police Officers

A Knox County man has been arrested after making death threats to police officers on social media. On Saturday, April 21 and Sunday, April 22, Timothy Roark, 29, of Barbourville, posted on his Facebook page threatening to kill all Knox County police officers. He also specifically named a Barbourville Police Officer on the Knox County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page that he would kill. A warrant was obtained charged Roark with terroristic threatening. He was located around 8:05pm on Monday, April 23, 2018 at a residence on Stephen Trace Road south of Barbourville. Timothy Roark was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
