KY 3390 in Johnson County Closed for Embankment Repair

Updated: Drilling will continue on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 7am to 7pm.

Original Story: Drilling on KY 3390 in Johnson County has closed the road at the work site. Drilling began at 7am Tuesday, April 24, 2018, to repair an embankment failure on KY 3390 between mile point 0 and 2. Due to the severity of the break, the road will be closed at this site most of the day. The drill will have to sit in the one lane that is open. Sara George, District 12 Information Officer, apologized for the late notice and said it’s sometimes difficult to estimate when work will be finished at one site. For the rest of the day, motorists should take an alternate route as traffic will be blocked at the work zone.
