The Kentucky State Police and the US Drug Enforcement Agency are partnering on Saturday, April 28, 2018 to encourage citizens to remove potentially dangerous medicines from their homes and dispose of them safely. KSP Commissioner Rick Sanders said National Prescription Drug Take Back Day addresses a crucial public safety and health issues by providing a convenient way for citizens to help prevent drug addiction and overdose deaths. Collection activities will take place from 10am through 2pm on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 16 locations throughout the state.
