The 2018 Jog Your Memory Alzheimer’s 5K/Walk will be Saturday, May 5, 2018. The 5K will begin at the Prestonsburg Municipal parking lot at 155 North Lake Drive in Prestonsburg at the city stage at 10am.  Early registration will $20 or $25 day of. Groups of 10 or more will receive $5 off registration for each person. Registration day of race will begin at 8:30am.

Race is 5K and the walk is a ONE mile Non-competitive walk.

Each age group will be awarded in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for both male and female.

In America, 1 in 9 adults, 65 or older suffer from Alzheimer’s disease. With 1 in 3 adults over the age of 85 suffering from Alzheimer’s or Dementia. However, Alzheimer’s is not just a disease of old age. Younger-onset (also known as Early-Onset) Alzheimer’s affects people younger than the age 65. Alzheimer’s is the sixth leading cause of death in the United States and is the most common form of Dementia.
