Kentucky State Police Post 9 Pikeville are investigating a fatal bulldozer accident that occurred on Little Mud Creek Road on Sunday, April 29, 2018. At 1:07pm, Kentucky State Police Post 9 received a call stating Clyde Boyd had overturned the bulldozer he was operating on an embankment. Trooper Blake Frasure responded to the scene along with the Betsy Layne Fire Department, Floyd County Rescure Squad, and Trans Star Ambulance service. It was determined Boyd, 61, of Banner, was deceased at the scene due to injuries sustained from the accident. The accident is being investigated by Trooper Frasure.
