Bridge deck restoration and waterproofing is scheduled to begin on KY 114 in Floyd County on Monday, May 14, 2018. Work will begin on two KY 114 bridges over CSX rail lines and the Levisa Fork at mile point 12.364. These are the parallel bridges leading into downtown Prestonsburg at the T-intersection just past Archer Park. The contractor will start with traffic diverted to the passing lane on each bridge, switching to the right lane as work progresses. Work days are expected to last 12 to 13 hours, with nighttime concrete pours. The work is expected to be finished in 30 calendar days.
