The Kentucky Blood Center will be holding two blood drives on Thursday, May 17, 2018. The first will be at the Floyd County Public Library in Prestonsburg from 9:30am to 11:30am, followed by one at Appalachian Wireless in Ivel from 1:30pm to 4:30pm, both on the KBC Bloodmobile. All donors will receive a “Donate blood, y’all” purple t-shirt. Blood donors must be 17-years-old or 16 with parental consent, weigh at least 110 pounds, be in general good health and show a photo ID and meet additional requirements.
