Conn Seeks Dismissal of Original Charges

Eric C. Conn’s attorney has filed a motion to have his original 18-count indictment dismissed. The original charges were going to be dismissed after Conn accepted a plea agreement to serve a 12-year sentence for his part in a Social Security fraud case. The indictment was reinstated after he fled to Honduras and was apprehended. A final decision on the indictment has not yet been reached. If convicted, Conn faces up to 255 years.
