A Lawrence County woman was killed in a fatal accident on Monday, May 7, 2018. Around 1:55pm, Virginia Priode, 92, was struck by the door of her husband’s car as he was backing up. She was knocked down and then run over by one of the tires before the husband could stop. Virginia Priode was airlifted to Cabell Huntington Hospital where she died from her injuries. No charges have been filed against the husband.
