Knox County Sheriff’s Department Executes Arrest Warrant, Locates Drugs

On Tuesday, May 8, 2018, members of the Knox County Sheriff’s Department attempted to execute an arrest warrant on Curtis Eidson at a residence on Herman Saunders Lane. Eidson, 37 of Barbourville, was located inside the residence and arrested on the warrant for assault, harassing communications, and terroristic threatening. During the arrest, deputies located a plastic bag containing crystal methamphetamine, over 32 suboxone strips, 17 subtex tablets, a set of digital scales, and assorted drug paraphernalia. In addition to the warrant, Eidson was charged with trafficking in controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
