The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Highway District 12’s Shelby Maintenance Crew intends to replace a failed cross drain on KY 2552, the road leading to the CSX rail yard at Shelby, on Friday, May 11, 2018. The road will be closed to traffic from 9am until 2pm. Superintendent Josh Blackburn said that emergency vehicle will be accommodated. According to Blackburn, the current drain needs to be replaced as it no longer holds the water and debris under the roadway.
