Kentucky State Police have arrested a third individual wanted in connection with the murder of Ricky Allen Gibson. KSP Post 13 Trooper Mike Burton was patrolling the Dry Fork community of Letcher County on Thursday, May 10, 2018, after dispatchers received calls from concerned citizens advising that Clarence Russell Brown may be in the area. Trooper Burton located Brown just before 7pm as he was walking on Little Dry Creek Road and took him into custody without incident. An arrest warrant was executed on Clarence Brown, charging him with one count each of murder and tampering with physical evidence. He was lodged in the Letcher County Detention Center.
